According to the latest data, China's textile and apparel industry achieved an export volume of $197.7 billion from January to August 2024, a year-on-year increase of 1.1%. This data was released by the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles on September 10 in Beijing.
具体来看,纺织品出口表现更为亮眼,前8个月累计出口930.7亿美元,增长3.5%;而服装出口则出现1%的小幅下滑,总额为1047.1亿美元。
In detail, textile exports performed more prominently, with cumulative exports of $93.07 billion in the first eight months, an increase of 3.5%; while apparel exports saw a slight decline of 1%, totaling $104.71 billion.
8月单月数据显示,中国纺织服装出口279.5亿美元,同比增长1%,环比增长4.3%。其中纺织品出口122.2亿美元,同比增长5.1%;服装出口157.3亿美元,同比下降2%。
The monthly data for August shows China's textile and apparel exports reached $27.95 billion, a year-on-year increase of 1% and a month-on-month increase of 4.3%. Among them, textile exports were $12.22 billion, up 5.1% year-on-year; apparel exports were $15.73 billion, down 2% year-on-year.
