2020年卫星互联网首次纳入"新基建"。中国已初步建成覆盖全国及"一带一路"沿线的高轨卫星互联网。中星26号作为中国首颗超百Gbps容量高通量通信卫星，于2023年6月开始提供服务。
Satellite internet was first included in "new infrastructure" in 2020. China has preliminarily built a high-orbit satellite internet covering the whole country and Belt and Road regions. Zhongxing-26, China's first high-throughput communication satellite with over 100Gbps capacity, began service in June 2023.
