According to the latest data from Taiwan's fiscal authorities, the region's exports reached $41.09 billion in November 2024, marking the fourth consecutive month above $40 billion, with a year-on-year growth of 9.7%, expanding by 1.3 percentage points from October and achieving 13 consecutive months of growth.
财政部门统计司司长蔡美娜分析指出，信息通信和音像产品的持续旺盛需求是主要推动力，2024年前11个月该类产品出口增长达64.9%。她表示："通胀缓解带动IT设备需求回升，而AI浪潮持续刺激相关应用需求。"
Beatrice Tsai, Director of the Statistics Department, attributed the strong export performance to sustained robust demand for information, communication and audio-visual products, which grew 64.9% in the first 11 months of 2024. She noted that "easing inflation has boosted demand for IT equipment, while the AI wave continues to stimulate demand for related applications."
