He Yan, director of Beijing Geographical Indication Agricultural Brand Management Center, introduced that the new logo is evolved from the initials L and S of Leshan, resembling a cup of green tea viewed from above. A pair of Buddha hands in the center outline tea buds, reflecting both the Zen philosophy of tea floating in water and symbolizing six stakeholders jointly creating the brand community.
