Poble's Purple Palace

👋 Welcome!

Hi! My name is Poble (pronounced "puh-bleh"), and I just so happen to be the monarch of this very purple place, I hope it's not too hard on the eyes. Check out any of these sections and get an idea of the kind of person I am. ~~And stay away if you don't like purple, we can't be friends. How dare you not like purple...~~ Uh, anyway, the main purpose of this website is to provide an outlet for expressing myself online, as well as keeping myself away from social media and all of its annoyances.

I had originally made this site on Neocities back in 2021 and I never did much with it until 2023, where I proceeded to actually finish this damn website after migrating it to a separate hosting service. And well, here it is, in all its purple glory. This website is responsive and it should look good on most modern browsers and devices. I made sure to test on all sorts of devices too, from Windows Phones to a BlackBerry. Yeah.

This website is also certified free of AI-generated slop. I strongly oppose companies adding stupid AI bullshit to their products, besides being useless, they also use a ton of water to operate. I sure hope this is nothing but a fad. But enough talk, just peruse my website and stop reading this nonsense lol.

August 22nd, 2025: Removed "Socials" page for now, as I only really have one active platform that happens to be public, and replaced with a contact form. Added Tumblr feed on the homepage.
August 10th, 2025: First update in ages, sheesh. Tweaked some styles on the blog.
March 13th, 2025: The Museum has been reopened, with the photo gallery being the only section available at the moment.
February 9th, 2025: Fleshed out the Socials section to include interaction criteria and profiles I used to have.
November 6th, 2024: Added the date to the latest blog post on the Home page. Lite version of this website has been removed.
October 15th, 2024: Removed the bubbles on the blog, as they could be found distracting while reading.

TO-DO:

Finishing up the layout for the Museum section and adding its remaining subsections.
Adding an option for pausing the GIFs and hiding the bubbles, for the sake of accessibility.

Finding a way to moderate what gets posted on the guestbook and fixing an issue I still haven't bothered to fix.
