Details

This integration uses pre-built, source-available components from Pipedream's GitHub repo. These components are developed by Pipedream and the community, and verified and maintained by Pipedream.

To contribute an update to an existing component or create a new component, create a PR on GitHub. If you're new to Pipedream component development, you can start with quickstarts for trigger span and action development, and then review the component API reference.

Trigger

Description:Emit new event when a new ticket is created.
Version:0.0.1
Key:tawk_to-new-ticket-instant

tawk.to Overview

The tawk.to API lets you interact with the tawk.to live chat platform programmatically. Using Pipedream, you can connect tawk.to to a variety of other apps and services to automate notifications, sync chat data, and enhance customer support operations. You can trigger workflows on new messages, follow up on conversations, extract chat transcripts, or link chat events to CRM systems, issue trackers, or databases—all in real-time.

Trigger Code

import common from "../common/base.mjs"; export default { ...common, key: "tawk_to-new-ticket-instant", name: "New Ticket (Instant)", description: "Emit new event when a new ticket is created.", version: "0.0.1", type: "source", dedupe: "unique", methods: { ...common.methods, getEvents() { return [ "ticket:create", ]; }, generateMeta(event) { return { id: event.ticket.id, summary: `New ticket ${event.ticket.id}`, ts: Date.parse(event.time), }; }, }, };

Trigger Configuration

This component may be configured based on the props defined in the component code. Pipedream automatically prompts for input values in the UI and CLI.

To retrieve your API Key,

  • Navigate to your tawk.to account and sign in
  • Select your Profile Image in the upper-right corner
  • Go to “Edit Profile” > “REST API Keys”

Note: To use the REST API and get your API Key, you’ll first need to request access
