Details

This integration uses pre-built, source-available components from Pipedream's GitHub repo. These components are developed by Pipedream and the community, and verified and maintained by Pipedream.

To contribute an update to an existing component or create a new component, create a PR on GitHub. If you're new to Pipedream component development, you can start with quickstarts for trigger span and action development, and then review the component API reference.

Trigger

Description:Emit new event for each new article in a blog.
Version:0.0.19
Key:shopify-new-article

Shopify (OAuth) Overview

Shopify provides a powerful API that enables developers to build a wide range
of applications and tools for merchants. Some examples of what you can build
using the Shopify API include:

  • Merchant tools: tools that help merchants manage their stores, such as order
    management, product administration, and reporting
  • E-commerce applications: applications that enable merchants to sell their
    products online, such as shopping carts, product catalogs, and order
    management
  • Integration tools: tools that helps integrate Shopify with other systems,
    such as accounting, inventory, and shipping

Trigger Code

import common from "../common/polling.mjs"; import { MAX_LIMIT } from "../../common/constants.mjs"; export default { ...common, key: "shopify-new-article", name: "New Article", type: "source", description: "Emit new event for each new article in a blog.", version: "0.0.19", dedupe: "unique", props: { ...common.props, blogId: { propDefinition: [ common.props.app, "blogId", ], }, }, methods: { ...common.methods, async getResults() { const { blog: { articles: { nodes } } } = await this.app.listBlogArticles({ id: this.blogId, first: MAX_LIMIT, reverse: true, }); return nodes; }, getTsField() { return "createdAt"; }, generateMeta(article) { return { id: article.id, summary: `New Article: ${article.title}`, ts: Date.parse(article[this.getTsField()]), }; }, }, };

Trigger Configuration

This component may be configured based on the props defined in the component code. Pipedream automatically prompts for input values in the UI and CLI.

Trigger Authentication

Shopify (OAuth) uses OAuth authentication. When you connect your Shopify (OAuth) account, Pipedream will open a popup window where you can sign into Shopify (OAuth) and grant Pipedream permission to connect to your account. Pipedream securely stores and automatically refreshes the OAuth tokens so you can easily authenticate any Shopify (OAuth) API.

Pipedream requests the following authorization scopes when you connect your account:

About Shopify (OAuth)
