Details

This integration uses pre-built, source-available components from Pipedream's GitHub repo. These components are developed by Pipedream and the community, and verified and maintained by Pipedream.

To contribute an update to an existing component or create a new component, create a PR on GitHub. If you're new to Pipedream component development, you can start with quickstarts for trigger span and action development, and then review the component API reference.

Trigger

Description:Emit new event for each subtask added to a project.
Version:1.0.10
Key:asana-new-subtask

Asana Overview

The Asana API taps into the feature-rich project management platform, allowing you to automate tasks, sync data across apps, and enhance team collaboration. With the Asana API on Pipedream, you can create tasks, update project timelines, and trigger workflows from events within Asana—like new tasks or comments—streamlining your project management processes. Pipedream’s serverless platform empowers you to build complex workflows with minimal overhead, integrating Asana with numerous other services to maximize productivity and reduce manual workload.

Trigger Code

import common from "../common/common.mjs"; const { asana } = common.props; export default { ...common, key: "asana-new-subtask", type: "source", name: "New Subtask (Instant)", description: "Emit new event for each subtask added to a project.", version: "1.0.10", dedupe: "unique", props: { ...common.props, project: { label: "Project", description: "Gid of a project.", type: "string", propDefinition: [ asana, "projects", (c) => ({ workspace: c.workspace, }), ], }, tasks: { optional: true, propDefinition: [ asana, "tasks", (c) => ({ project: c.project, }), ], }, }, methods: { ...common.methods, getWebhookFilter() { return { filters: [ { action: "added", resource_type: "task", }, ], resource: this.project, }; }, async emitEvent(event) { const { tasks } = this; const { events = [] } = event.body || {}; const promises = events .filter(({ parent }) => parent.resource_type === "task") .filter(({ resource }) => { return tasks?.length ? tasks.includes(String(resource.gid)) : true; }) .map(async (event) => ({ event, task: (await this.asana.getTask({ taskId: event.resource.gid, })).data, })); const responses = await Promise.all(promises); responses.forEach(({ event, task, }) => { this.$emit(task, { id: task.gid, summary: task.name, ts: Date.parse(event.created_at), }); }); }, }, };

Trigger Configuration

This component may be configured based on the props defined in the component code. Pipedream automatically prompts for input values in the UI and CLI.

N/Adb$.service.dbThis component uses $.service.db to maintain state between executions.
N/Ahttp$.interface.httpThis component uses $.interface.http to generate a unique URL when the component is first instantiated. Each request to the URL will trigger the run() method of the component.

Trigger Authentication

Asana uses OAuth authentication. When you connect your Asana account, Pipedream will open a popup window where you can sign into Asana and grant Pipedream permission to connect to your account. Pipedream securely stores and automatically refreshes the OAuth tokens so you can easily authenticate any Asana API.

Pipedream requests the following authorization scopes when you connect your account:

About Asana

Action

Description:Create a page from a parent page. [See the documentation](https://developers.notion.com/reference/post-page)
Version:0.2.24
Key:notion-create-page

Notion Overview

Notion's API allows for the creation, reading, updating, and deleting of pages, databases, and their contents within Notion. Using Pipedream's platform, you can build workflows that connect Notion with various other services to automate tasks such as content management, task tracking, and data synchronization. With Pipedream's serverless execution, you can trigger these workflows on a schedule, or by external events from other services, without managing any infrastructure.

Action Code
