Details

This integration uses pre-built, source-available components from Pipedream's GitHub repo. These components are developed by Pipedream and the community, and verified and maintained by Pipedream.

To contribute an update to an existing component or create a new component, create a PR on GitHub. If you're new to Pipedream component development, you can start with quickstarts for trigger span and action development, and then review the component API reference.

Trigger

Description:Emit new event each time a task is assigned, reassigned or unassigned.
Version:0.1.3
Key:asana-task-assigned-in-project

Asana Overview

The Asana API taps into the feature-rich project management platform, allowing you to automate tasks, sync data across apps, and enhance team collaboration. With the Asana API on Pipedream, you can create tasks, update project timelines, and trigger workflows from events within Asana—like new tasks or comments—streamlining your project management processes. Pipedream’s serverless platform empowers you to build complex workflows with minimal overhead, integrating Asana with numerous other services to maximize productivity and reduce manual workload.

Trigger Code

import common from "../common/common.mjs"; const { asana } = common.props; export default { ...common, key: "asana-task-assigned-in-project", type: "source", name: "New Task Assigned in Project (Instant)", description: "Emit new event each time a task is assigned, reassigned or unassigned.", version: "0.1.3", dedupe: "unique", props: { ...common.props, project: { label: "Project", description: "Gid of a project.", type: "string", propDefinition: [ asana, "projects", (c) => ({ workspace: c.workspace, }), ], }, user: { label: "Assignee", type: "string", description: "Only emit events when tasks are assigned to this user GID", propDefinition: [ asana, "users", ({ workspace }) => ({ workspace, }), ], }, }, methods: { ...common.methods, getWebhookFilter() { return { filters: [ { action: "changed", resource_type: "task", fields: [ "assignee", ], }, ], resource: this.project, }; }, async emitEvent(event) { const { user } = this; const { events = [] } = event.body || {}; const promises = events .filter(({ change }) => !change.new_value || (user?.length > 0 && change.new_value.gid === user)) .map(async (event) => ({ event, task: (await this.asana.getTask({ taskId: event.resource.gid, })).data, })); const responses = await Promise.all(promises); responses.forEach(({ event, task, }) => { const ts = Date.parse(event.created_at); this.$emit(task, { id: `${task.gid}-${ts}`, summary: task.name, ts, }); }); }, }, };

Trigger Configuration

This component may be configured based on the props defined in the component code. Pipedream automatically prompts for input values in the UI and CLI.

N/Adb$.service.dbThis component uses $.service.db to maintain state between executions.
N/Ahttp$.interface.httpThis component uses $.interface.http to generate a unique URL when the component is first instantiated. Each request to the URL will trigger the run() method of the component.

Trigger Authentication

Asana uses OAuth authentication. When you connect your Asana account, Pipedream will open a popup window where you can sign into Asana and grant Pipedream permission to connect to your account. Pipedream securely stores and automatically refreshes the OAuth tokens so you can easily authenticate any Asana API.

Pipedream requests the following authorization scopes when you connect your account:

About Asana

Action

Description:Add a document. [See the documentation](https://docs.libraria.dev/api-reference/library/create-document)
Version:0.0.2
Key:libraria-add-document

Libraria Overview

The Libraria API allows you to access a vast library of books and their metadata, including titles, authors, publication dates, and genres. With this API on Pipedream, you can craft serverless workflows to automate various tasks around book data management, enrichment, and sharing. Whether you're a librarian seeking to update catalog records, a retailer syncing inventory, or a book lover curating a reading list, Pipedream streamlines these tasks by connecting the Libraria API to other apps and services.

Action Code

import app from "../../libraria.app.mjs"; export default { name: "Add Document", version: "0.0.2", annotations: { destructiveHint: false, openWorldHint: true, readOnlyHint: false, }, key: "libraria-add-document", description: "Add a document. [See the documentation](https://docs.libraria.dev/api-reference/library/create-document)", type: "action", props: { app, libraryId: { propDefinition: [ app, "libraryId", ], }, url: { type: "string", label: "URL", description: "The url to scrape from", }, }, async run({ $ }) { const response = await this.app.addDocument({ $, libraryId: this.libraryId, data: { url: this.url, }, }); if (response) { $.export("$summary", `Successfully added document to library ID \`${this.libraryId}\``); } return response; }, };

Action Configuration

This component may be configured based on the props defined in the component code. Pipedream automatically prompts for input values in the UI.

  • Navigate to your Libraria account and sign in
  • Go to “Team Settings” > “API Key”
