As overseas expansion heats up, smart pet products have emerged as a star sector, with numerous large financing projects reaching hundreds of millions.
市场增长趋势明显,上游供应链已有感知。小壹科技成立于2016年,是国内较早一批专门从事宠物用品OEM/ODM的供应商企业,其主要为宠物品牌研发设计并生产各类宠物用品,目前海外业务占比约7成。
The market growth trend is evident, and upstream supply chains have taken notice. Founded in 2016, Xiaoyi Technology is one of China's early specialized OEM/ODM suppliers for pet products, focusing on R&D and manufacturing for pet brands, with overseas business accounting for about 70%.
小壹科技的客户主要为亚马逊、eBay和沃尔玛等线上线下渠道的卖家。赛维、有颗树等大卖也曾是其客户。截至目前,其已为上千家企业代工,自研产品销往全球20多个国家和地区,进入山姆、开市客等大型商超,销售额年均增长速度达400%。
Xiaoyi's clients include sellers on platforms like Amazon, eBay, and Walmart. Major sellers such as Saiwei and Youkeshu have also been its customers. To date, it has OEM-produced for over 1,000 companies, with self-developed products sold in more than 20 countries and regions, entering large retailers like Sam's Club and Costco, achieving an annual sales growth rate of 400%.
自成立起,小壹科技以宠物饮水、喂食类产品为主打,根据智能、清洁、消耗等功能差异下分六大产品系列,研发生产包括猫砂盆、饮水机、投食机、梳子、尿垫在内的共计30个品类上千款产品。2018年其开始研发生产宠物智能产品,包括自动猫厕所、智能喂食器和自动饮水机等。
Since its inception, Xiaoyi Technology has focused on pet drinking and feeding products, categorizing them into six series based on smart, cleaning, and consumable functions. It has developed over 1,000 products across 30 categories, including litter boxes, water dispensers, feeders, combs, and pee pads. In 2018, it began developing smart pet products like automatic litter boxes, smart feeders, and water dispensers.

在生产方面,小壹科技主要以ODM模式为主,其先自主完成对产品的定义与设计,拥有产品的知识产权,而后供客户挑选成品,进行开发量产;此外,其也能承接品牌客户的设计需求,为品牌提供产品定义-设计研发-技术升级-生产制造等服务。
In production, Xiaoyi primarily adopts the ODM model, independently defining and designing products with full IP ownership before offering finished products for client selection and mass production. It also accommodates brand clients' design needs, providing services from product definition to R&D, tech upgrades, and manufacturing.
目前,小壹科技的业务范围覆盖了ODM与OEM生产、经销和代理。

小壹科技创始人Park告诉硬氪,饮水器、喂食器和猫砂盆都是市面上的刚需产品。公司借助早期积累的研发、工程、制造经验,可在3-4个月实现智能饮水类产品从定义到开模量产;喂食器和理毛机等功能稍显复杂的智能产品大约需要6个月,智能猫砂盆则需8个月。
Founder Park told Hardcore that water dispensers, feeders, and litter boxes are essential products. Leveraging early R&D and manufacturing experience, Xiaoyi can take 3-4 months from definition to mass production for smart water dispensers, 6 months for more complex products like feeders and grooming machines, and 8 months for smart litter boxes.
时效和成本控制方面,Park表示,在供应与议价能力等方面小壹科技拥有较强的竞争优势,能借助数十条自动化生产线,使出货速度比同行提升约50%,生产成本下降约15%。
Regarding efficiency and cost control, Park stated that Xiaoyi has strong competitive advantages in supply and bargaining power. With dozens of automated production lines, it can increase delivery speed by 50% and reduce production costs by 15% compared to peers.
除产品供应外,小壹科技能在电商平台为品牌客户控价,减少靠同一款产品打价格战的可能。在供应环节,其通常只会在同一渠道选定合适数量的卖家,并与卖家们商定产品的统一价格,为相同渠道的卖家维持利润空间。
Beyond supply, Xiaoyi helps brand clients control prices on e-commerce platforms to avoid price wars. In supply, it typically selects an appropriate number of sellers per channel and negotiates uniform pricing to maintain profit margins.
随着宠物智能产品愈发受到关注,小壹科技所在的供应链环节开始“内卷”。近些年,小米、美的已进入宠物智能产品领域,不少3C类工厂也转型生产智能猫砂盆等产品。Park表示,竞争在2023年已经较为激烈。
As smart pet products gain attention, Xiaoyi's supply chain segment has become competitive. In recent years, Xiaomi and Midea have entered the smart pet product space, and many 3C factories have shifted to producing smart litter boxes. Park noted that competition intensified in 2023.
多方涌入也说明这一细分领域具有较大的增长空间。Global Market Insights数据显示,预计至2028年,宠物科技市场的年复合成长率将达到20%,市场规模将达到200亿美元;其中自动喂食器的市场规模或将在2032年达到53.4亿美元。
The influx of players indicates significant growth potential. According to Global Market Insights, the pet tech market is expected to grow at a 20% CAGR by 2028, reaching $20 billion, with automatic feeders potentially hitting $5.34 billion by 2032.
从渗透率来看,宠物智能产品中的饮水、喂食类产品由于智能化程度、客单价都相对较低,渗透率高于智能猫砂盆。但Park介绍,整体来看,目前智能类产品还处于较为早期的渗透阶段,带有物联功能(APP)的智能产品即使在最大市场美国渗透率也不到20%。
In terms of penetration, smart drinking and feeding products have higher adoption due to lower complexity and price compared to smart litter boxes. However, Park noted that smart products are still in early stages, with IoT-enabled (APP-connected) products having less than 20% penetration even in the largest market, the U.S.
即使市场还远未到成熟阶段,已有不少厂商加紧布局。产品方面,小壹科技将在2024年推出两款智能猫砂盆与二代理毛机,进一步拓展智能系列产品。今年,其还将开建113亩宠物智能产品工厂,建成后该类工厂面积将达14万平米。
Despite the market's immaturity, many manufacturers are accelerating their plans. Xiaoyi will launch two smart litter boxes and a second-generation grooming machine in 2024, expanding its smart product line. This year, it will also break ground on a 113-acre smart pet product factory, which will span 140,000 sqm upon completion.
