According to latest statistics, Vietnamese flowers are gaining increasing market share in Japan, with multiple varieties winning recognition from Japanese consumers. Japan has become a key export destination for Vietnamese flowers.
日本海关数据显示,2021年日本花卉进口总额达653亿日元(5.28亿美元),其中从越南进口额达4500万美元,占比8.52%。同年越南花卉出口总额6180万美元,同比增长27%。
Japanese customs data shows that in 2021, Japan's total flower imports reached 65.3 billion yen ($528 million), with $45 million imported from Vietnam, accounting for 8.52%. Vietnam's total flower exports that year reached $61.8 million, up 27% year-on-year.
日本主要从越南进口康乃馨、菊花、百合、兰花和玫瑰等品种。永旺集团AEON部门主管佐藤高里表示,其千叶县购物中心销售的花卉中约40%来自越南。
Japan mainly imports carnations, chrysanthemums, lilies, orchids and roses from Vietnam. Kaori Sato of AEON Group said about 40% of flowers sold in their Chiba shopping center come from Vietnam.
