China, Ningbo - Ningbo rail transit police recently cracked the first peeping case in metro history through advanced surveillance systems, demonstrating the powerful effectiveness of urban public transportation security systems.
10月9日，宁波轨道交通警方在地铁1号线泽民站A出口抓获一名用手机偷拍女性裙底的男子周某。警方通过调取监控录像迅速锁定并抓获嫌疑人。
On October 9, Ningbo rail transit police arrested a man surnamed Zhou who was using his phone to take upskirt photos at Exit A of Zemin Station on Metro Line 1. Police quickly identified and apprehended the suspect by reviewing surveillance footage.
监控系统全覆盖：宁波地铁1号线和2号线共安装约3600个高清摄像头（不含车厢内），站点监控覆盖率达99%。警方表示："从进站到出站，乘客几乎全程处于监控之下。"
Comprehensive surveillance system: Ningbo Metro Lines 1 and 2 are equipped with approximately 3,600 HD cameras (excluding those inside train cars), achieving 99% station coverage. Police stated: "Passengers are under surveillance almost throughout their entire journey from entry to exit."
监控画面清晰度极高，民警形象比喻："连女孩子有没有涂睫毛膏，拉近镜头都可能看出来。"
The surveillance image quality is extremely high, with police vividly describing: "We might even be able to tell if a girl is wearing mascara when zooming in."
国庆安保成效：今年国庆期间，宁波地铁单日客流最高达50万人次。警方累计出动2000多人次警力，服务群众1500多人次，破获多起案件：
National Day security achievements: During this year's National Day holiday, Ningbo Metro recorded a peak daily passenger flow of 500,000. Police deployed over 2,000 officers, served more than 1,500 passengers, and solved several cases:
- 10月1日晚，2号线2小时内发生3起扒窃案，警方通过监控次日抓获嫌疑人
- On the evening of October 1, three pickpocketing cases occurred within two hours on Line 2, with suspects apprehended the next day through surveillance
- 两起安检处行李顺手牵羊案件，通过连夜追查监控找回失物
- Two cases of luggage theft at security checkpoints, with lost items recovered through overnight surveillance review
