I pointed Claude Code at a folder that consisted of 101 subfolders. In those were a variety of file formats including pages, word, md, pdf. It then found the folders that didn’t include a .md, created a .md with content from the other formats, and added the metadata I needed. In just a few minutes.

I reorganized my Notes App into an Inbox and File setup. New Notes go in the Inbox first. During any downtime, I’ll place into the appropriate folders (Inspiration, Work, Family/Home, Locked, Archive). I also took steps to make note creation from anywhere quicker (share sheet, quick actions, etc).

Mythos Theme now supports the new OpenGraph Card Templates from Micro.blog (including custom avatars). Update to v1.4.1 now.

I need an app where I can dump anything (docs, images, links, videos…) easily. Ideally, files get basic organization (that’s not a dealbreaker). The emphasis is on easy. Share sheet support, quick entry, Safari extension. Is Raindrop really the closest I can get? MacOS, iOS, maybe email too? Help!

I’ve made a few updates to what I’ve been using, mostly adding new categories. However, there has been one big change. For document creation, I’ve switched from Pages to iA Writer. Pages has done everything I’ve needed, but I wanted to go back to Markdown. My original reason for switching away from Markdown was the limited availability of things like custom styles that I prefer in lecture/sermon notes.

There needs to be a site that provides very subtle backgrounds for iOS 26 Messages. The default ones (and most photos) are just a little too much for my tastes, but I wouldn’t mind something easier on the eyes.

I’m coaching my son’s baseball team this year, and last night we had our first batting practice. Due to planning conflicts, I was the only coach/parent who could throw. I threw 3 small buckets (13 balls ea) to 10 different kids. Add in a bonus “1 extra” pitch and it comes to 400 pitches. I’m sore.

I think I’m going to hold onto my iPhone 15 Pro Max for 1 more year. I’d upgraded every year for ages until that model, but now it will be 3 years between upgrades (if I do hold off).

I’m needing a simple iPhone based setup to do some talking head style videos in locations that may not be ideal. I’ve been using a DJI mic (excellent) and a cheap tripod. But I need to up it another level. Maybe a quality light (not ring)? Better tripod? I’ll take any tips or suggestions.
