I understand what it's trying to do, but the gimmick isn't very entertaining. You see the family at multiple different ages in different time periods. The episodes don't really have plots. They are more realistic vignettes with some funny moments sprinkled in. Maybe there is more of a story as it goes but the first episode wasn't for me.
It tries too hard to be random and chaotic. I usually love absurdist humor but I don't like the way this show does absurdist humor. Typically shows with absurdist humor like Regular Show start out very normal, esclatae then get very crazy. This show tries to jump right into very wild plots and its not fun. The title of the show is also pretty bad. Why is it called Oh My God... Yes! A Series of Extremely Relatable Circumstances? It doesn't tell you much about the show, the world, or the characters. I brought up Regular Show earlier in this post. The name Regular Show is very ironic but every episode begins with something very simple like Mordocaei and Rigby set up the chairs, then the plot ends up being very wild contradicting its name. Jumping right into the craziness just doesn't work as well in my opinion.
