In fact, OEM manufacturing for international brands has become the primary business model for large-scale eyewear enterprises in Wenzhou. According to Wenzhou Customs' foreign trade data from January to November, nine major products including shoes and clothing among the top ten exports showed varying degrees of decline. Wenzhou's main export products - shoes and clothing - decreased by 12.51% and 18.04% respectively, while eyewear was the only product that achieved year-on-year growth.

据温州海关统计，温州眼镜的出口价格在两三元至六七十元不等。数据显示，今年前11个月，温州眼镜出口保持增长，得益于欧美市场需求的增加。温州海关统计数据表明，前11个月，温州对美国出口额为17.54亿元，同比增长6.66%；对欧盟出口额为16.2亿元，同比增长4.42%。这两大市场占据了温州眼镜总出口量的69.72%。
According to Wenzhou Customs statistics, the export prices of Wenzhou eyewear range from 2-3 yuan to 60-70 yuan. Data shows that the growth of Wenzhou eyewear exports in the first 11 months of this year was driven by increased demand from European and American markets. Statistics from Wenzhou Customs indicate that from January to November, exports to the United States reached 1.754 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.66%; exports to the European Union amounted to 1.62 billion yuan, up 4.42% year-on-year. These two major markets accounted for 69.72% of Wenzhou's total eyewear exports.
