东非国家积极寻求扩大对华农产品出口 开拓亚洲新市场
【核心提示】东非共同体(EAC)近日表示，希望扩大成员国对中国的农产品出口，以增加外汇收入并实现市场多元化。
[Key Insight] The East African Community (EAC) recently expressed its desire to expand agricultural exports to China from member states, aiming to increase foreign exchange earnings and achieve market diversification.
东非共同体农业部门官员辛迪·卡桑巴拉表示："我们正在寻求扩大包括中国在内的亚洲市场，以实现农民收入的多样化。"目前该地区大部分农产品主要销往欧盟和北美市场。
Sindi Kasambala, an official from the EAC agricultural sector, stated: "We are seeking to expand into Asian markets including China to diversify farmers' income sources." Currently, most agricultural products from the region are mainly exported to EU and North American markets.
东非共同体成员国包括：肯尼亚、乌干达、坦桑尼亚、布隆迪、卢旺达、南苏丹和刚果民主共和国。随着中国与该地区国家联系日益密切，中国有望成为该地区农产品的重要消费市场。
EAC member states include: Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Burundi, Rwanda, South Sudan, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. With China's growing ties with countries in the region, China is expected to become a major consumer market for the region's agricultural products.
肯尼亚：贸易官员华盛顿·米耶勒指出，中国市场将帮助肯尼亚农业减少对欧盟传统市场的过度依赖。"中国消费市场增长迅速，购买力强，出口中国将使肯尼亚农民获得更好价格。"
Kenya: Trade official Washington Mielle noted that the Chinese market will help Kenya's agriculture reduce its over-reliance on traditional EU markets. "China's consumer market is growing rapidly with strong purchasing power, and exporting to China will enable Kenyan farmers to obtain better prices."
卢旺达：园艺出口商协会主席罗伯特·鲁昆多表示，中国已被视为利润丰厚的市场，扩大对华出口将显著增加国家外汇收入。
Rwanda: Robert Rukundo, chairman of the Horticulture Exporters Association, stated that China is already seen as a lucrative market, and expanding exports to China will significantly increase the country's foreign exchange earnings.
乌干达：Hortifresh协会副主席塞缪尔·巴拉加德强调，中国巨大的消费市场具有改变乌干达经济的潜力，乌干达迫切希望扩大对华园艺产品出口。
Uganda: Samuel Baragadde, vice chairman of Hortifresh Association, emphasized that China's huge consumer market has the potential to transform Uganda's economy, and Uganda is eager to expand horticultural exports to China.
