Identity verification SMS - why multiple sources?

We are using AAD B2C identity platform custom policies with multi factor authentication enabled. SMS verification codes are sent from two different sources as 'msverify' and 'Microsoft' randomly.

Any reason behind multiple sources?
Is it configurable to receive from a single source?

    @indi360

    Microsoft uses multiple providers for delivering calls and SMS messages. Different providers use different sender text while delivering the message.
    Microsoft doesn’t have any control on from where the SMS messages are sent from, as local providers sometimes would send the SMS message as “msverify” or “Microsoft”.
