Jamf allows you to anonymize the identity of users in reports that directly reveal individualized web browsing and app use. Aggregate usage reports and service tools are not anonymized.
This feature may only be modified by Super Admins. Changes are recorded to the Audit Log.
Select Anonymize User Identities to enable Privacy Mode.
The pseudonymized user identities used within Jamf Security Cloud are static and stay the same for the users that they represent. This allows administrators to analyze the usage patterns of specific anonymous users across anonymized reports and between Jamf Security Cloud logins.
In rare circumstances, a user's true identity may become apparent as a result of usage patterns. To prevent this happening, Super Admins can elect to "re-randomize" all pseudonyms, effectively "re-pseudonymizing" all user identities.
To do so, navigate to and click Create New Anonymization Key.
