The Computers page displays all computers in your organization with Jamf Protect installed. You can sort and search all computers using the following criteria:

Jamf Protect version
Computer tags
macOS version
Computer model
Computer name
Connection status
Threat version
Last Disconnection
Compliance Reported
Baseline Score
You can view an individual computer's details by clicking on it from the computers pane. A computer's dashboard displays all recent alerts, a compliance baseline report card, and the computer's current plan and version of Jamf Protect.

If you are using Jamf Pro smart groups to configure scope for plans, using this method to change an individual computer's plan is not recommended. For more information about configuring the scope of plans in Jamf Pro, see the Jamf Protect Integration with Jamf Pro section of the Jamf Pro Documentation.
To change the plan on a computer, Jamf Protect must already be installed.
The computer receives the new plan from Jamf Protect.
You can apply labels and tags to computers, which allow you to easily search and filter computers in the Jamf Protect web app. Complete the following steps to add labels or tags:
- Log in to Jamf Protect.
- Click computers from the left navigation menu.
- Select the computer for which you want to change plans.
- Click the Edit tab.
- Complete the Label field.
- Add any relevant tags in the Tags field.
- Click Save.
You can view a computer's real-time connection status from the Connection Status column on the Computers page. The following are the color-coded status indicators:
| Connection Status | Details |
|---|---|
| Green | Computer is currently connected and will receive updates in real-time. |
| Red | Computer is not currently connected and has not been connected for more than 30 days. As soon as the device connects, it will receive updates. |
| None | Computer is not currently connected but has connected within the last 30 days. As soon as the device connects, it will receive updates. |
You can manually request real-time check-ins from connected devices. During this check-in, outstanding compliance updates will automatically run.
