App Watchlist Using Jamf Security Cloud

The app watchlist is a list of apps that trigger notifications to the administrator when users install them on a device. For example, if Shazam's applicationID was added to your watchlist, you could set an email notification to notify the administrator if the app is installed.
To open the app watchlist, navigate to in Jamf Security Cloud.
You can also add whole categories of applications to the watchlist, for example, Cloud and file storage.
Apps that fit into a watchlist category, but are considered business critical, can be given an exemption. For example, all cloud storage apps could be added to the watchlist, but an exception could be made for Microsoft OneDrive.
- In Jamf Security Cloud, navigate to .
- Type the name of the app in the App name & app identifier field and click Apply.
- Click the app in the application list to expand all versions, and click the app version you want to add to the watchlist.
- In the App detailed view, click App watchlist settings to expand the settings.
- Select the Add to watchlist checkbox.
- Click Save watchlist.
You can see your app watchlist to verify that the app has been added by navigating to .
- In Jamf Security Cloud, navigate to .
- In the App watchlist, find the app you want to delete.
- Click the x button next to the app to remove it from the watchlist.
