Jamf ID may not be available for some Jamf School environments until later in 2025.
Sessions time out after 30 minutes of no user interaction, or after eight hours of use.
To create a Jamf ID, go to account.jamf.com.
To delete your Jamf ID, contact privacy@jamf.com.
In Jamf Account, your profile is used to manage your Jamf ID and personal user profile.
Your Jamf ID is associated with you as an individual and stays with you regardless of your employment status or the email address used for your Jamf ID. An employer can remove you from their organization, but they cannot delete your Jamf ID.
Your Jamf certifications and training enrollments are linked to your Jamf ID.
Under the Personal tab, you can edit your name, email address, and other settings.
Jamf recommends using an organizational email address for consistency across both Jamf and your organization.
If single sign-on (SSO) is enabled, specific information in your profile may not be editable, as determined by your organization's identity provider (IdP).
Jamf stores the following Jamf ID data:
Name
Email address
Timezone
Language
Country
Avatar
As a Jamf customer, you can earn reward points for engaging in a variety of activities with Jamf and have the opportunity to redeem points for rewards.
For more information, see Jamf Nation Rewards.
Under the Organization tab, you can view or edit your linked organization. Linking to an organization enables access to other features in Jamf Account, including Jamf products, feedback programs, and organization-level settings like SSO configuration.
To self-join an organization, your account's billing zip code and Jamf Pro activation code are required. If you do not have that information, contact your organization administrator to request they add you to the organization, or contact your Jamf Account team. For more information about your Jamf Account team, click
in the upper-right corner, and then select Contact Account Team.
Under the Security tab, you can reset your password and enable multi-factor authentication (MFA).
Consider the following:
Passwords cannot be reused.
Passwords do not expire.
When Jamf detects suspicious login attempts, or if there is a breach in password data, the Jamf ID is locked. You will receive an email with instructions to unlock the Jamf ID.
If SSO is configured for your organization, MFA must be connected to the organization's IdP instead of Jamf ID.
Important:
Jamf cannot reset your Jamf ID password on your behalf. You must manually reset it using the Reset Password link on the login page, or on the Security tab in your Jamf Account profile.
Note: If you do not receive a password reset email, create a temporary Jamf ID using a different email address, and then click Contact Support in the top navigation in Jamf Account.Jamf cannot reset MFA if you lose your multi-factor device or recovery codes. Jamf recommends saving your recovery codes during MFA enrollment.
Note: If you do not have the device set up for MFA or the recovery code, create a temporary Jamf ID using a different email address, and then click Contact Support in the top navigation in Jamf Account.
Under the Payments tab, you can view previous training purchases made via Jamf Account.
Under the Agreements tab, you can view your current legal agreements with Jamf. The agreements listed here are agreements that you, individually, have accepted via Jamf Account. This list does not include Jamf agreements that you or your organization may have signed or agreed to outside of Jamf Account, or through other applications or processes.
