The 2nd China White Tea Conference to be Held: Promoting High-Quality Development of White Tea Industry

中国日报福州7月13日电 - 7月12日下午，"第二届中国白茶大会"新闻发布会在福州市成功举行。本次发布会由中国茶叶流通协会、福建省供销合作社联合社、南平市人民政府等机构联合主办。

Fuzhou, July 13 (China Daily) - The press conference for "The 2nd China White Tea Conference" was successfully held in Fuzhou on the afternoon of July 12, jointly organized by China Tea Marketing Association, Fujian Supply and Marketing Cooperative, and Nanping Municipal Government.

据中国茶叶流通协会统计，2022年全国春茶总产量约为150-170万吨，全年茶叶总产量约为310-330万吨，农业产值有望突破3000亿元。其中，白茶产业发展态势最好。

According to statistics from China Tea Marketing Association, the total output of spring tea in 2022 is about 1.5-1.7 million tons, with annual tea production reaching 3.1-3.3 million tons and agricultural output value expected to exceed 300 billion yuan. Among them, white tea shows the best development trend.

Mei Yu, Secretary-General of China Tea Marketing Association, said: "The conference will feature various main events including Zhenghe Tea Banquet, China White Tea Brand Development Forum, and National White Tea Producing Regions Government Salon."

福建省供销合作社联合社合作指导处一级调研员刘常云表示："中国白茶大会的成功举办，将进一步促进中国白茶产业交流、贸易和旅游发展。"

Liu Changyun, First-level Researcher of Fujian Supply and Marketing Cooperative, said: "The successful holding of China White Tea Conference will further promote the exchange, trade and tourism development of China's white tea industry."

政和县县委常委游美君介绍了大会筹备情况："我们成立了大会筹备委员会，下设6个专项组，确保各项会务服务工作细致、精致、极致。"

You Meijun, Member of the Standing Committee of Zhenghe County Party Committee, introduced the preparation: "We have established a conference preparation committee with 6 special groups to ensure meticulous, exquisite and perfect conference services."

本次大会将汇聚来自全国十余个白茶主产区的代表，共同探讨白茶产业发展大计，推动中国白茶产业迈向新高度。

The conference will bring together representatives from more than ten white tea producing regions across the country to discuss the development of white tea industry and promote Chinese white tea to new heights.
