Kunming, China - On October 12, a special train loaded with steel products from Kunming Iron and Steel Holding Co., Ltd (KunSteel) departed from Kunming International Land Port North Port (Anning Taohuacun) to Vientiane South Station in Laos via the China-Laos Railway. This marks KunSteel's first railway export to Southeast Asian countries, signaling a new phase in cross-border logistics cooperation between China and ASEAN nations.
本次运输由云南腾晋物流股份有限公司（腾晋物流）采用"门到站"公铁联运模式：钢材从昆钢安宁新区经公路运至南亚陆港国际物流中心装箱，再经中老铁路集中运抵老挝，最终由当地企业配送至各大建筑工地。
The shipment was handled by Yunnan Tengjin Logistics Co., Ltd (Tengjin Logistics) using a "door-to-station" intermodal transport model: steel products were transported by road from KunSteel's Anning facility to South Asia Land Port International Logistics Center for container loading, then shipped via China-Laos Railway to Laos for final distribution to construction sites by local partners.
