中铁八局南横高速公路第一合同段项目书记古智勇表示："截至目前，南横高速公路所有的土建施工内容基本上全部完工。我们目前主要进行交通标志标牌、隔离栅栏、防护护栏及交通标线等施工，进度已达25%左右。"
Gu Zhiyong, Party Secretary of the First Contract Section of Nanheng Expressway under China Railway Eighth Group, stated: "As of now, all civil construction works for the Nanheng Expressway have been basically completed. We are currently mainly engaged in the installation of traffic signs, guardrails, barriers, and road markings, with progress reaching about 25%."

The Nanheng Expressway spans 111.67 kilometers and is constructed to eight-lane expressway standards with a design speed of 120 km/h. Upon completion, the project will significantly improve regional transportation conditions and promote the integrated development of the Beibu Gulf urban agglomeration.
