On December 4th, Fengjie County held a high-quality development conference for its eyewear industry. After nine years of meticulous cultivation, the eyewear industry in Fengjie has achieved a remarkable transformation from nonexistence to strength.
2015年，奉节县依托《重庆市消费品工业三年振兴规划》，抢抓西部布局空白机遇，确定以低能耗、低污染的眼镜产业为主导产业，开启了生态工业发展的新篇章。
In 2015, leveraging the "Chongqing Consumer Goods Industry Three-Year Revitalization Plan", Fengjie County seized the opportunity in western China's industrial layout gap and identified the low-energy, low-pollution eyewear industry as its leading sector, opening a new chapter in eco-industrial development.
2016年，奉节县出台加快眼镜产业发展的"十二条意见"，从搬迁补助、物流补贴、担保费及贷款贴息、基本电费补贴等12个方面降低企业运行成本，并为企业配备专员和企业秘书，提供全方位"一对一"服务。
In 2016, the county introduced "Twelve Measures" to accelerate eyewear industry development, reducing operational costs for enterprises through 12 aspects including relocation subsidies, logistics subsidies, guarantee fees and loan interest subsidies, and basic electricity subsidies. It also assigned dedicated officers and enterprise secretaries to provide comprehensive "one-to-one" services.

交通物流方面，通过高铁快运、开通物流专线等方式，有效降低物流成本10%。
In transportation and logistics, measures like high-speed rail express and dedicated logistics routes have effectively reduced logistics costs by 10%.
产业链条方面，围绕眼镜产业全链条，聚焦生产关键环节，引进关键配套企业30余家，实现了眼镜生产制造配套的全覆盖。
In industrial chains, focusing on the entire eyewear industry chain and key production links, over 30 supporting enterprises have been introduced, achieving comprehensive coverage of eyewear manufacturing support.
人才培养方面，在辖区3所中职院校开设相关专业，每年可培育眼镜专业技术人才3000余名，为产业创新发展提供智力支持。
In talent cultivation, relevant majors have been established in three vocational schools within the county, training over 3,000 professional eyewear technicians annually, providing intellectual support for industrial innovation.
12月3日，奉节眼镜首次通过西部陆海新通道出口印度尼西亚，拓宽了物流渠道，打开了东南亚市场。同日，奉节眼镜电镀产业园正式投产，日处理能力达10万副，进一步降低了园区眼镜企业的生产成本，提升了产业集群的核心竞争力。
On December 3rd, Fengjie eyewear products were exported to Indonesia for the first time via the New Western Land-Sea Corridor, expanding logistics channels and accessing Southeast Asian markets. On the same day, the Fengjie Eyewear Electroplating Industrial Park officially commenced operations with a daily processing capacity of 100,000 pairs, further reducing production costs for park enterprises and enhancing the cluster's core competitiveness.
截至目前，奉节县已入驻眼镜企业150家，落地投产63家，具备年产镜架2亿副、镜片3亿副、眼健康产品5000万套的生产能力，形成了集研发设计、生产制造、产品展示、贸易销售于一体的眼镜全产业链条，成功创建为重庆市特色（眼镜）产业示范基地和重庆市中小企业特色产业集群。2024年1-11月，实现产值27.6亿元，带动就业3500余人。
To date, Fengjie County has attracted 150 eyewear enterprises, with 63 in operation, possessing annual production capacities of 200 million frames, 300 million lenses, and 50 million eye health products. It has formed a complete industrial chain integrating R&D design, manufacturing, product display, and trade sales, successfully establishing itself as Chongqing's characteristic (eyewear) industrial demonstration base and SME characteristic industrial cluster. From January to November 2024, it achieved an output value of 2.76 billion yuan, creating over 3,500 jobs.
未来，奉节县将继续坚持规划引领和创新驱动，推动眼镜产业持续迈向高质量发展新台阶。一方面，全力补链延链强链，围绕眼镜产业上下游关键环节，大力引进生产制造企业和配套服务企业，推进工贸一体、"前店后厂"模式，加快产业全链条升级。另一方面，强化科技创新赋能，聚焦品质化提升、智能化改造、数字化转型，支持引导企业加大研发投入，促进创新链、产业链、资金链、人才链深度融合。此外，奉节县还将深化对外交流合作，抢抓重庆跨境电商综试区建设机遇，依托生态工业园和电商产业园，创新"跨境电商+产业带"模式，加强与国际国内先进地区行业协会、商会组织的合作互动，通过跨境电商平台拓展国际市场，推动更多奉节眼镜产品"卖全球"。
Looking ahead, Fengjie County will continue to adhere to planning guidance and innovation-driven strategies to propel the eyewear industry toward new heights of high-quality development. On one hand, it will comprehensively enhance, extend, and strengthen industrial chains, focusing on key upstream and downstream links to vigorously introduce manufacturing enterprises and supporting service providers, promoting integrated industry-commerce and "front store, back factory" models to accelerate full-chain upgrades. On the other hand, it will strengthen innovation empowerment, concentrating on quality improvement, intelligent transformation, and digital transition, supporting and guiding enterprises to increase R&D investment, and fostering deep integration of innovation, industrial, capital, and talent chains. Additionally, Fengjie will deepen external exchanges and cooperation, seizing opportunities from Chongqing's cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zone construction. Leveraging its eco-industrial park and e-commerce industrial park, it will innovate the "cross-border e-commerce + industrial belt" model, strengthen cooperation with advanced domestic and international industry associations and chambers, and expand international markets through cross-border e-commerce platforms to enable more Fengjie eyewear products to "sell globally".
