北京林业大学团队获梁希林业科技奖 月季新品种创汇1200万美元
中国北京 - 在近日公布的梁希林业科学技术奖获奖名单中,北京林业大学园林学院张启翔教授团队凭借月季新品种培育项目荣获科技进步二等奖。该团队研发的62个具有自主知识产权的月季新品种已创造4亿元产值,并实现1200多万美元的出口创汇。
Beijing, China - Professor Zhang Qixiang's team from the College of Landscape Architecture at Beijing Forestry University has won the second prize of the Liangxi Forestry Science and Technology Progress Award for their rose breeding project. The team's 62 new rose varieties with independent intellectual property rights have generated 400 million yuan in output value and over $12 million in export revenue.
月季作为北京市花和全球重要切花植物,长期以来面临抗性差、养护成本高等问题。张启翔团队历时20年攻关,在蔷薇属植物资源开发、分子育种技术等领域取得突破,培育出抗病抗寒的新品种。
As Beijing's city flower and a globally important cut flower, roses have long faced challenges such as poor resistance and high maintenance costs. After 20 years of research, Professor Zhang's team has made breakthroughs in Rosa plant resource development and molecular breeding technologies, cultivating new varieties with disease resistance and cold hardiness.
目前这些新品种已在15个省份推广种植,并首次实现中国自育月季在欧洲和非洲的规模化生产。团队还获得9项国际园艺大奖、3项国家发明专利,技术成果转让7项。
These new varieties have been promoted in 15 provinces and achieved China's first large-scale production of domestic roses in Europe and Africa. The team has also won 9 international horticulture awards, 3 national invention patents, and transferred 7 technological achievements.
北京林业大学园林学院创建于1951年,拥有国家花卉工程技术研究中心等多个国家级科研平台,参与过北京世园会、冬奥会等重大项目,累计获得百余项国内外科技大奖。
