国家发改委对外经济研究所副研究员李慰表示："一带一路沿线国家构成44亿人口的超级市场，是世界上最重要的茶叶生产和消费区域。"他同时指出，印度、斯里兰卡等红茶出口国竞争力增强，给中国茶叶出口带来"上压下挤"的挑战。
Li Wei, associate researcher at the Foreign Economic Research Institute of the National Development and Reform Commission, stated: "Belt and Road countries form a super market of 4.4 billion people, the world's most important tea production and consumption region." He also noted that enhanced competitiveness from black tea exporters like India and Sri Lanka creates "pressure from both sides" for Chinese tea exports.
