Anhui Tea Exports Rank Second in China: Over 20,000 Tons Shipped in First Four Months of 2022, Pioneering New Belt and Road Channels
中新社合肥5月21日电 - 根据合肥海关最新数据，安徽省2022年1-4月茶叶出口量达2.05万吨，占全国茶叶出口总量的16.76%，出口规模位居全国第二。
Hefei, May 21 (Xinhua) - According to the latest statistics from Hefei Customs, Anhui Province exported 20,500 tons of tea in the first four months of 2022, accounting for 16.76% of China's total tea exports and ranking second nationwide.
主要出口市场包括：摩洛哥、乌兹别克斯坦、塞内加尔、阿尔及利亚和美国。5月21日正值"国际茶日"，安徽省黄山市作为中国最大的眉茶出口集散中心，其茶叶出口量和出口额分别占全国的1/6和1/9。
Major export markets include: Morocco, Uzbekistan, Senegal, Algeria and the United States. On International Tea Day (May 21), it's noteworthy that Huangshan City in Anhui Province, as China's largest export hub for Meicha (eyebrow tea), accounts for 1/6 of national tea export volume and 1/9 of total export value.
受疫情影响，传统海运渠道面临运费暴涨、舱位紧张等挑战。2021年8月，安徽省创新开通"黄山-合肥-塔什干"茶叶专列，为茶叶出口开辟了稳定的陆路新通道。截至2022年3月底，该专列已累计开行10列，货运量超3000吨，班次频率从最初的1-2月1列提升至每月固定1列。
Affected by the pandemic, traditional shipping channels face challenges including soaring freight costs and container shortages. In August 2021, Anhui Province launched the innovative "Huangshan-Hefei-Tashkent" tea-dedicated railway, creating a stable new land logistics channel. By the end of March 2022, this special train had made 10 trips carrying over 3,000 tons of cargo, with frequency increasing from one train every 1-2 months to a fixed monthly schedule.
合肥海关指出，随着《区域全面经济伙伴关系协定》(RCEP)正式生效，安徽茶企应把握机遇：深入研究目标市场、拓展多元出口渠道、熟悉检验检疫法规、选择优质合作伙伴，推动茶产业转型升级，加速融入"一带一路"建设。
Hefei Customs emphasized that with the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) taking effect, Anhui tea enterprises should seize opportunities by: conducting thorough market research, diversifying export channels, understanding inspection/quarantine regulations, and selecting reliable partners to facilitate industrial upgrading and deeper integration into the Belt and Road Initiative.
