Add physical mapping to network graph

Is there any push to let users move nodes around on a background image (floor plan) so they can also show physical location. I recall being able to do something like that in another system, check_mk, and I could place network devices in a specific location on the background image. It let me see the network connections and physical locations as well. It seems like a feature like this might be helpful when troubleshooting connection issues in the mesh network.

Been digging into this and it seems the graph isn't an accurate indication of how the network is working. Guess my idea isn't feasible and wouldn't be of much use anyway.

The graph actually is an accurate indication of how network is working, compared to all other software that only use neighbors information, our creates a network based on routing table (priority routes, lwr, nlwr). The feature you are asking for BTW requires lot of UI work on the graph and I don't think the result is worth the effort

I may look into pulling the info into grafana and building the map there. Not sure it'll be worth the effort but I'm curious if it can be done. Good way to teach myself a little more about grafana.
