SciPy 2024 Xarray Tutorial

📢 We are planning another Xarray Tutorial for SciPy 2024 in Tacoma, Washington July. A draft proposal is linked below based on input from last year's organizers.

We welcome comments on the content or structure outline for this tutorial. If you'd like to help organize - please feel free to add your name and contact info to the draft google doc below in a comment, which identifies different roles needed to make this a successful event!

Based on past SciPy experience it would be great to have more non-geoscience examples in the Xarray Tutorial content this year. Let us know if you have good candidate examples by engaging in this issue xarray-contrib/xarray-tutorial#172 !
