Needed `allow-plugins` for build breaking during `composer install`
Default .editorconfig was forcing composer.json with spaces to save as tabs. This should preserve the whitespace in the PR.

Looks good to me! This only affects dev installations anyway, so nothing changes for end-users.

Also updated .editorconfig to preserve the whitespace in composer.json.
