Disk attach to vm

Hello I need to attach disks on my vms, and I saw that in the cli, there is limactl disk.

But in the subcommand there is nothing to attach the disk.
I then looked to see if in the template default there was an instruction to mount nothing either. Is this in development or am I misinformed?
