Ok so this one might sound a bit weird but from looking at the logs of gitingest.com I noticed many people were copy/pasting the gitingest URL into the input form for whatever reason

And I think there's no good reason to not try to resolve those URLs since they probably came from a valid git host first

The fix should be very simple and I'm leaving this one on purpose for a contributor who would like to get started!

1 - Create a testcase
2 - Check it fails
3 - Implement the changes
4 - submit a PR
