get back a dataframe once updated

I did not find a good way to get back the edited values in the GUI as pandas dataframe.
I was able to get a dict with
gui = pandasgui.show(table)
foo = gui.get_dataframes()
but foo cannot be converted into a pandas df directly.

Can you please support me in this?
