In 2016 when I created Vue APlayer, I was learning and using Vue as my daily front-end framework. At that time, there's not many alternatives in Vue community (probably none), and Vue APlayer also became the first project recorded in vuejs/awesome-vue under the Audio category. Years have passed and so many player-ish components have come out, but this project seems to have been out of maintenance. So many issues are left unresolved, and the library didn't catch up with Vue 3.
I love this neat design of APlayer, and I want this project to continue to be lively. However, since I joined my current team where React is used primarily, I have been not around the Vue community nor developing with Vue for about 4 years. I'm not familiar with the latest Vue apis and patterns and tastes now, and I'm afraid I can't maintain this project as well as expected. So I decide to handover the leading maintenance work to someone else - someone that is an active Vue user and is enthusiastic in maintaining a library well.
The handover process is still in plan and I'm currently looking for good candidates. I'd be so happy and grateful if anyone volunteers 😄.
