What is Ribbit?

Ribbit Network is a non-profit creating the world's largest Greenhouse Gas Emissions dataset that will empower anyone to join in the work on climate and provide informed data for climate action.

Core Team Members Wanted

We’re expanding the core team of volunteers to increase the impact of Ribbit Network. We’re seeking the following members:

• Grants / Fundraising Lead - Seek out grants and other fundraising opportunities to fund the deployment of more Frog Sensors
  Solar Powered Frog Sensor Team Lead - Lead the efforts to build a solar-powered version of the Frog Sensor.
• Cellular Frog Sensor R&D Team Lead - Lead the efforts to build a solar-powered version of the Cellular Frog Sensor.
• Research Team Lead - Curate and analyze research relevant to distributed Greenhouse Gas Measurements
• Science Outreach Team Lead - Lead the outreach efforts from Ribbit Network to the broader scientific community
• Frog Sensor Software Team Lead - Lead, design, and maintain the software team for the Frog Sensor
• Web Software Team Lead - Lead, design, and maintain the software team for the backend web database hosting Ribbit Network Data
• Social Media Lead - Manage the Ribbit Network Social Media Accounts and content strategy
• Community Team Lead - Manage and lead the Ribbit Network online community including Github Discussion Forums and Discord

Time Commitment

Flexible depending on your situation, but generally, members that can contribute at least 1-2 hours per week do best.

What do I Get out of This?

This is an unpaid, volunteer position for Ribbit Network (a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation).
We hope that the experience of building open-source hardware and software for climate action, justice, and fun is compelling to you!
The Ribbit Network Team will also offer you mentorship and a job title to help you advance along with your career if desired!
