The theme used by the Python documentation is now available for translation. Contributions to its translation are accepted via pull request in the python-docs-theme GitHub repository and in the translation project in Transifex (Contributions sent that are later forwarded as pull requests).

I understand French team prefers not using non-free software, so please find attached the latest POT file. Let me know if you want to translate and have me open the pull request.
