Hunan Adds 7 New Provincial-Level Export Food and Agricultural Product Quality and Safety Demonstration Zones
华声在线3月8日讯（通讯员 林俊 湖南日报·华声在线记者 周月桂）经省政府批准，湖南出入境检验检疫局、省农业委和省商务厅近日联合发文，确定临湘(茶叶)、华容(芥菜、蜂蜜)、桑植(牛羊肉)、资阳(茶叶)、赫山(茶叶)、桃江(茶叶)、安化(茶叶)7个县市区为第三批省级出口食品农产品质量安全示范区。
Huasheng Online, March 8 (Correspondent Lin Jun, Hunan Daily·Huasheng Online Reporter Zhou Yuegui) Approved by the provincial government, the Hunan Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, the Provincial Agriculture Committee, and the Provincial Department of Commerce recently jointly issued a document designating seven counties and districts—Linxiang (tea), Huarong (mustard greens, honey), Sangzhi (beef and mutton), Ziyang (tea), Heshan (tea), Taojiang (tea), and Anhua (tea)—as the third batch of provincial-level export food and agricultural product quality and safety demonstration zones.
湖南出入境检验检疫局介绍，此次新获批的示范区新增了不少我省特色产品，安化、桃江等地是我省著名的黑茶产区，这也是我省黑茶产业首次纳入出口示范区；桑植县牛羊养殖存栏10万头，牛羊肉年均出口2000余万美元；华容县的芥菜和蜂蜜产品年均出口近1000万美元。这些示范区产品将享受多项示范区扶持政策和检验检疫监管便利措施。
The Hunan Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau stated that the newly approved demonstration zones include many of the province's specialty products. Anhua and Taojiang are famous for their dark tea production, marking the first time Hunan's dark tea industry has been included in an export demonstration zone. Sangzhi County has a livestock inventory of 100,000 cattle and sheep, with annual beef and mutton exports exceeding $20 million. Huarong County's mustard greens and honey products have annual exports of nearly $10 million. Products from these demonstration zones will benefit from various supportive policies and streamlined inspection and quarantine measures.
截至目前，我省累计已通过28个省级出口食品农产品质量安全示范区，示范区建设有力提升了食品农产品质量安全整体水平，促进了我省食品农产品出口。今年1至2月，全省共出口食品农产品2.17亿美元，同比增23.66%。
To date, Hunan has established a total of 28 provincial-level export food and agricultural product quality and safety demonstration zones. The construction of these zones has significantly improved the overall quality and safety of food and agricultural products, boosting the province's exports in this sector. From January to February this year, the province exported $217 million worth of food and agricultural products, a year-on-year increase of 23.66%.
