This intercity railway connecting Shanghai, Suzhou and Huzhou spans 164 kilometers with a design speed of 350 km/h and 8 stations. Upon completion, it will achieve a 40-minute direct connection from Shanghai Hongqiao to Huzhou, significantly improving connectivity within the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration.
