I've tried to download the Arduino environment, like, five times already, and it doesn't work. I tried with the windows ZIP file, but when I tried to open it, it said the folder was empty, and invalid.
I tried with the Windows Installer, but that, too, said that it was not valid and it was probably because of an incomplete download or damaged things, and that I should contact the author for a new copy.
I have NO idea how I'm going to use my board if I can't download the envioronment, and I URGENTLY to get this fixed, because it's mandatory in my engineering class.
Download the file and wait until it is fully downloaded. That might take a few minutes.
I do wait. The problem is that it doesn't download completely-and it's not my fault. I wait for it. It's not like I force it to open before it's downloaded. I've tried it the two ways, the Windows installer and the zip file, but it keeps saying that it's either not valid, or the folder is empty.
When the download is not complete, you can not use it.
I downloaded the installer of version 1.0.6 for a test, it took 1 minute and 28 seconds. My internet is 8Mbit internet.
Can you download it with another computer at another location ?
