Arduino ide 2 issues

2. In the ide If I open file/sketches, my sketches are listed multiple times, any where from twice to fifteen times. My sketches are located in documents/arduino/sketches. I copied and pasted them there from my earlier version of arduino. The earlier version was deleted. I removed the sketches temporarily and verified this in the ide. I then repasted the sketches back, and still the same problem.

I've only seen duplicates, not 15 times. Some more info in e.g. Arduino IDE 2.0.3 Duplicate TAB page. Post #2 describes a workaround and post #20 a workaround for the workaround.
