Silly question time. Aside from the fact that it is not allowed, why can't/couldn't/shouldn't there be a Try..except..finally..end; construct?

Yup. I had seen that. "We are keeping exception blocks as they have been. Works good enough." Is "good enough" acceptable?? That doesn't mean times/desires/preferences haven't changed..

Depends on your criteria for 'significant benefit'. 🙂

The concept has merit in my mind. Writing try-except-finally-end; would seem much more User friendly/intuitive than Try-Try-except-end;-finally-end; Surely a parser could reprocess this: try-except-finally-end; into this: Try-Try-except-end;-finally-end; internally... I would love to have it, but I suspect reality is what it is.

Hi Guys, Anybody know what is happening with XE Plus Pack that Jeremy North released, now that Jeremy is no longer supporting it? The last release I got was for D12, and would really like one for D13. Regards & TIA, Ian

Hi Team, We went to Daylight savings in Australia this morning. At this moment my local date time is Sun 5 Oct'25 @ approx 13:54. Using Delphi 12, if I try to create a new Unit I get this: I am running Windows 11. I have checked my date/time sync: All seems good: Any thoughts/suggestions appreciated. Regards & TIA, Ian

Update - I deleted Document Studio from Delphi and WP B52 is working fine again. Would like to have both installed. 😉

I just added B52 to my Delphi 12.3. My favourites are empty and I get this message when I click into the favourites folder: Yes, I have the Gnostice products installed.

It appears in the opening splash screen but I see the same issue as you in GetIt.

Hi Team, This might nt be the right forum for this issue.. I had IPW 24.0.9249 installed via GetIt in my D12.3. I installed IPW 24.0.9385 via GetIt. I didn't deinstall the previous version thinking the new would overwrite. Not so it seems. Now I seemingly have two installed via GetIt. 😞 How do I get rid of the old entry without impacting the new? There is no issue building/running my Apps att. Regards & TIA, Ian

When I start D13 with the latest MMX, 16.0.8.59, installed I getthis message but inability to click on Yes or No, justthe busy cursor: I have to abort D13. 15.0.7.52 installs and runs without issue.

Yes. Apologies. Yep. That fixed it. P.S. Installing GExperts after MMX works. No loading/starting issues.
