We’re excited to announce that applications are now open for the second annual Science and Engineering Program for Teachers (SEPT) at Westminster University in Salt Lake City, Utah. This June, we will welcome 30 middle and high school STEM teachers from across the Western United States for a four-and-a-half–day professional development program hosted on Westminster University’s campus.
SEPT West 2026 will run from June 14–18, and applications are officially live. You can download the application using the link below.
This year, we are seeking outstanding educators who teach science, technology, engineering, and/or mathematics at the secondary level. SEPT participants are recognized as innovative, creative, and dedicated leaders in their schools and communities. Ideal applicants are teachers who:
-
Integrate technology into their classrooms—especially tools that empower students to create; and
-
Demonstrate innovation in their teaching practice, as well as meaningful engagement in past professional development or extracurricular learning opportunities.
If you—or a teacher you know—would be a great fit, we encourage you to apply and join us for this immersive, inspiring week of learning, collaboration, and hands-on experience.
