华强北由"中国电子第一街"向"美妆圣地"的转型之路，因一场缉私行动横遭打断。2020年12月底，海关缉私部门和深圳当地警方联合对涉嫌通过跨境电商平台走私的团伙开展集中打击行动，涉案金额超6亿元。

In late December 2020, customs anti-smuggling departments and Shenzhen police jointly launched a crackdown on gangs suspected of smuggling through cross-border e-commerce platforms, involving over 600 million yuan.
2021年第一个工作日，深圳市市场监管局等部门对华强北化妆品档口展开大检查，明通化妆品市场等多个大型市场进入歇业整顿状态。时代周报记者走访发现，这些商场已悬挂起"反走私、打假冒"的条幅。
On the first working day of 2021, Shenzhen Market Supervision Bureau and other departments launched inspections of Huaqiangbei cosmetics stalls, putting several major markets including Mingtong Cosmetics Market into suspension for rectification. Times Weekly reporters found these markets now display banners reading "anti-smuggling, crack down on counterfeits".

在华强北经商多年的黄立恒（化名）透露，走私手段历经多次"迭代"：
- 早期：偷渡、渔船私运、"水客"背货
- 近期：跨境电商平台走私成为主要形式

- Early stage: Illegal border crossing, fishing boat smuggling, "parallel traders" carrying goods
- Recent stage: Cross-border e-commerce platform smuggling becoming the main form

Smugglers use cheating software to steal personal information. Once an identity's quota is used up, it's removed from the database. Purchasing agent Lin Jia (pseudonym) revealed: "Before the pandemic, agents hired 'parallel traders' to carry goods from Hong Kong, paying 200-300 yuan per person per day."
市场影响与监管应对 | Market Impact and Regulatory Response
北京德和衡律师事务所律师龚卓指出："商家将应以'一般贸易'进口的商品，以跨境电商零售进口的名义买入，属于伪报贸易性质走私行为。"
Lawyer Gong Zhuo from Beijing DHH Law Firm pointed out: "Merchants importing goods that should go through 'general trade' under the name of cross-border e-commerce retail imports constitutes smuggling through false declaration of trade nature."
IP Global中国区首席经济学家柏文喜表示："自发形成的市场难免受到秩序失范等问题侵扰，需要行业规范与秩序维护。"
Bai Wenxi, Chief Economist of IP Global China, stated: "Spontaneously formed markets are inevitably plagued by disorder and other issues, requiring industry standards and order maintenance."
