Exporting lithium carbonate, fish oil, lemons and limes, while importing lithium ore sands - in 2023, Sichuan achieved national first-place rankings in both import and export volumes for these four commodities. Additionally, Sichuan's exports of caviar and lithium hydroxide ranked second nationally, while exports of baijiu (Chinese liquor) and lithium nickel cobalt manganese oxide ranked third.

2023年，四川实现货物贸易进出口总值9574.9亿元，规模位列全国第八。其中，成都实现全年货物贸易进出口总值7489.8亿元，占四川货物贸易进出口总值的78.2%。
In 2023, Sichuan's total import and export value of goods reached 957.49 billion yuan, ranking eighth nationally. Chengdu accounted for 748.98 billion yuan of this total, representing 78.2% of Sichuan's foreign trade volume.
季度增长趋势明显 | Clear Quarterly Growth Trend
2023年四川外贸运行走出一条进出口规模逐季抬升的"爬坡线"：一季度规模2240.6亿元，二、三、四季度规模分别环比增长1.1%、1.5%、20.3%。四季度单月进出口规模连续刷新年内月度高点，推动四季度实现进出口2767.4亿元。
Sichuan's foreign trade showed a clear upward quarterly trend: Q1 volume reached 224.06 billion yuan, with Q2, Q3 and Q4 showing quarter-on-quarter growth of 1.1%, 1.5% and 20.3% respectively. Monthly import-export volumes in Q4 continuously refreshed annual highs, driving Q4's total to 276.74 billion yuan.

2023年四川一般贸易进出口3754.5亿元，同比增长18.8%，占同期四川进出口总值的39.2%。市场采购出口365亿元，同比增长14.8%；对外承包工程出口41.1亿元，同比增长42.4%。
Sichuan's general trade import-export volume reached 375.45 billion yuan in 2023, up 18.8% year-on-year, accounting for 39.2% of total trade. Market procurement exports reached 36.5 billion yuan (up 14.8%), while contracted project exports reached 4.11 billion yuan (up 42.4%).
外贸主体活力增强 | Enhanced Vitality of Foreign Trade Entities
2023年四川有进出口实绩的企业为8250家，较上年增加901家。民营企业表现尤为突出，7328家民营企业合计实现进出口4381.1亿元，同比增长25.1%，占四川进出口总值的45.8%。
Sichuan had 8,250 enterprises with actual import-export performance in 2023, an increase of 901 from the previous year. Private enterprises performed particularly well, with 7,328 private enterprises achieving total import-export volume of 438.11 billion yuan, up 25.1% year-on-year, accounting for 45.8% of Sichuan's total.
新兴市场开拓成效显著 | Remarkable Achievements in Emerging Markets
东盟成为四川最大贸易伙伴，2023年四川对东盟进出口1796.6亿元，占四川进出口总值的18.8%。对俄罗斯进出口268.5亿元，同比增长54.5%。对共建"一带一路"国家进出口4154亿元，同比增长10.3%。
ASEAN became Sichuan's largest trading partner, with import-export volume reaching 179.66 billion yuan (18.8% of total). Trade with Russia reached 26.85 billion yuan (up 54.5%), while trade with Belt and Road countries reached 415.4 billion yuan (up 10.3%).

宜宾、遂宁、雅安等城市凭借电子信息产业、锂电产业的发展，外贸规模不断扩大，分别实现进出口规模364.2亿元、108.9亿元、72亿元，分别同比增长15.5%、41%、34.9%。全省已有10个城市跨越外贸百亿门槛。
Cities like Yibin, Suining and Ya'an continuously expanded their foreign trade scale through development of electronic information and lithium battery industries, achieving import-export volumes of 36.42 billion yuan, 10.89 billion yuan and 7.2 billion yuan respectively, with growth rates of 15.5%, 41% and 34.9%. Ten cities in the province have now crossed the 10-billion-yuan foreign trade threshold.
外贸新动能加速汇聚 | Accelerated Gathering of New Foreign Trade Momentum
随着锂电、光伏等绿色产业加快布局，四川外贸新动能加速汇聚。2023年四川"新三样"产品（锂离子蓄电池、太阳能电池、电动载人汽车）出口161.8亿元，同比增长46.7%。
With accelerated layout of green industries like lithium batteries and photovoltaics, new foreign trade momentum is rapidly gathering in Sichuan. In 2023, exports of "new three" products (lithium-ion batteries, solar cells, and electric passenger vehicles) reached 16.18 billion yuan, up 46.7% year-on-year.
特色农产品出口领先 | Leading Exports of Special Agricultural Products
2023年，四川产的鱼油、柠檬及酸橙分别出口7.7亿元、1.4亿元，均列全国第一；鱼子酱出口8708.3万元，列全国第二；白酒出口4.1亿元，列全国第三。
In 2023, Sichuan's exports of fish oil (770 million yuan) and lemons/limes (140 million yuan) both ranked first nationally; caviar exports (87.083 million yuan) ranked second; baijiu exports (410 million yuan) ranked third.
消费品进口快速增长 | Rapid Growth in Consumer Goods Imports
2023年，四川消费品进口130.4亿元，同比增长26%，其中连续9个月保持两位数及以上的增长。大宗商品进口也保持增长，其中锂矿砂进口378.9亿元，同比增长63%，进口规模位列全国第一。
Sichuan's consumer goods imports reached 13.04 billion yuan in 2023, up 26%, maintaining double-digit growth for nine consecutive months. Bulk commodity imports also grew, with lithium ore sand imports reaching 37.89 billion yuan (up 63%), ranking first nationally.
