I’m no expert but I prefer the first one.
I feel like the second sounds more realistic while the first sounds more punchier.
I also feel like the second one should have more high end frequencies though, just my opinion.
Overall, I prefer the second sound.
I’d suggest you to choose neither of those options and instead opt for something with a higher pitch. A gunshot isn’t only bass, it’s a tiny explosion and hence it should have a higher pitch to it.
Here’s a real sound I just recorded on my Glock 17. The sound quality is poor and not necessarily intended for use, but it’s just to give you an idea. You can add a random pitch to each shot to remove the repetitive aspect of the sound.
try use the soundID 801217802, will sound better than both of those
the first one sounds more fit for games, the second one sounds more realistic
overall i prefer the first one
These both don’t sound good, they sound like they were shot 50 meters away and behind a brick wall, despite the gun being in your hand.
yeah that sure does sound different, but what if it was shot on an open space, should i use hickok45 guntesting sounds?
