With a history of over 1,500 years, Liubao Tea was listed as one of China's 24 famous teas during the Qing Dynasty. 广西通过地理标志保护推动六堡茶品牌升级,实现从"苍梧六堡茶"到"广西六堡茶"的三级跨越。2022年品牌价值达37.64亿元,综合产值160亿元。目前广西六堡茶茶园面积达90万亩,SC认证茶企90家,其中包括2家国家级龙头企业。

Guangxi has promoted the brand upgrade of Liubao Tea through geographical indication protection, achieving a triple leap from "Cangwu Liubao Tea" to "Guangxi Liubao Tea". In 2022, the brand value reached 3.764 billion yuan, with a comprehensive output value of 16 billion yuan. Currently, Guangxi has 900,000 mu (about 60,000 hectares) of Liubao tea gardens and 90 SC-certified tea enterprises, including 2 national-level leading enterprises.
