2021年，中国外贸进出口突破万亿元的城市达到7个：上海（4.06万亿）、深圳和北京（均超3万亿）、苏州（超2.5万亿）、东莞（1.5万亿）、宁波和广州（均超1万亿）。仅上海、深圳、北京三城外贸总额就占全国27.2%。
In 2021, the number of cities with foreign trade import and export exceeding trillion yuan reached 7: Shanghai (4.06 trillion), Shenzhen and Beijing (both over 3 trillion), Suzhou (over 2.5 trillion), Dongguan (1.5 trillion), Ningbo and Guangzhou (both over 1 trillion). The foreign trade volume of Shanghai, Shenzhen and Beijing alone accounted for 27.2% of the national total.
