2024年9月20-22日，在广州市商务局和广州市生态环境局的指导下，2024鸿威世界宠物博览会（简称"世宠会"）在广州保利世贸博览馆成功举办，成为国内宠物行业首个实现碳中和的展会。
From September 20 to 22, 2024, under the guidance of Guangzhou Commerce Bureau and Guangzhou Ecology and Environment Bureau, the 2024 Hongwei World Pet Expo (referred to as "World Pet Expo") was successfully held at Poly World Trade Center Expo in Guangzhou, becoming the first carbon-neutral exhibition in China's pet industry.
主办方广东鸿威国际会展集团表示，展会通过购买"自愿减排量"实现二氧化碳排放"收支相抵"，采取90%无纸化门票、95%可回收布展材料等多项减碳措施。
The organizer Guangdong Hongwei International Exhibition Group stated that the exhibition achieved "carbon neutrality" by purchasing voluntary emission reductions, adopting multiple carbon reduction measures including 90% paperless tickets and 95% recyclable booth materials.

广州市商务局表示，新修订的《广州市关于促进会展业高质量发展的若干措施》新增了对零碳办展的政策扶持，支持会展企业开展碳核算和碳中和认证。
Guangzhou Commerce Bureau stated that the newly revised "Several Measures to Promote High-Quality Development of Guangzhou's Exhibition Industry" added policy support for carbon-neutral exhibitions, supporting exhibition enterprises in carbon accounting and carbon-neutral certification.
