OFFODE (Office-node) is a proof-of-concept tool that demonstrates automated multi-factor authentication (MFA) bypass techniques specifically targeting Microsoft Outlook accounts. The tool leverages Node.js and Playwright browser automation framework to perform credential interception and relay attacks. It operates by capturing user email inputs and forwarding credentials to legitimate Outlook login pages while monitoring server responses throughout the authentication process. The tool supports various Microsoft authentication scenarios including basic email and password authentication, authenticator-based one-time password (OTP) verification, and phone number-based OTP verification. It automates the process of handling different authentication flows that users encounter when accessing Outlook accounts. Due to Microsoft's frequent interface changes and ongoing security updates, the tool requires continuous maintenance to remain functional. The implementation serves as a demonstration of how automated browser manipulation can be used to bypass authentication mechanisms in web applications.
